WE LOVE OUR HOUSES BRIGHT

I am sure everyone gets the "spirit is willing but the body is weak" kind of days. I seem to miss my 6am dawn "drills" quite often now. Thus, I have been doing the "sauna walks" in the evening. Even at sunset, I get all sticky as the temperatures are still around the 30s with high humidity.

On these sweaty walks, I get to take pictures in better light and here are some of our psychedelic homes.

Our plants are evergreens, in bloom all day and night and throughout the year.

After seven months of online learning, it was back to school in November.
It is a common fact that Singapore enforces strict rules and regulations to maintain order. The government seems to even have their wildlife follow pandemic SOPs.

  1. Send me some of your heat, I will gladly accept it. Thanks for the brief look at the views during your walk. Love the flowers, I hope the fragrance from them is a nice as they look.

  2. The thirties and high humidity is a foretaste of hell for me.
Thank you for braving those conditions to bring us beauty.

  3. Once the temperature exceeds thirty it is a no-go zone for me! Heat and humidity are my arch enemies. I chuckled at the sign from Singapore, my favourite city in the whole world. Someone had a wry sense of humour.

  7. I enjoyed seeing those colorful houses. We went to Jamaica in November 2017 - the humidity was ungodly but the place was gorgeous. A lot of the houses are like the ones you showed - especially the yellow one. Such bright colors there. I really enjoyed it except for the weather. In our hotel room the windows would sweat , the sliding glass door looked like a wet shower door.

    1. I guess the window glass sweat from the hot humid weather outside and the cold air conditioning in the hotel room.

It's nice to see kids are back at school - 7 months without it is such a long time, wow! hope that online learning is a thing of the past, I really struggled trying to work from home and help the kids with online learning too last year! Thank goodness it didn't last long!

Hope that you had a great weekend :) We made the most of the warm sunny days after a rainy week :)

  14. I am glad school s back to normal too. The kids have really missed "fun" time and it has been so stressful for them and like you said, the parents supervising and working at the same time
