Dogs can live happily by the canalsMaking a living by the canals
Home is where the heart is. A prince stays in his palace and I stay in my little township - both of us are happy and comfortable in our own settings. Humans can live anywhere, when necessary and all we need is a roof and walls to keep us safe from the elements. These are pictures of people who live by the canals.
A shop selling provisions. The boatman buying ice.
This is more interesting than Venice. Fancy being able to shop from a boat... amazing. Thanks for posting these splendid photographs. I like the music as well.
Wow. That's pretty cool. We have 5 acres of grass surrounding our home. My kids would think it was pretty neat to have a canal for a "backyard." My dog...notsomuch. He can't swim :)
Malaysian scientist breaking free from the laboratory, academia and writing research papers. Help...stop this world from spinning so fast! I like watching the world from the sidelines, curious students, birds, different cultures and the outdoors. I am having a challenging phase with my daughter MartianGirl, who has just entered the teenage zone, and a rabid dog Daemon K9. Now, Martian Girl has grown up to be Savvy K, Typhoon Tory is the new K9, and life has taken a different spin.
Quote from my students, "We don't care how much you know until we know how much you care."
