A KING stays in his palace and I stay in my little township - I am happy, safe and comfortable in my home.
Life by the canals may look unusual and difficult but I believe humans can live anywhere. We need a roof and walls to keep us safe from the elements.
Making a living by the canals
I am pretty certain that life by/on the canals would suit me better than a palace.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a look at this rich and vibrant life.
We are all a product of our environment I suppose and what might make one happy would not suit another. Thank goodness there is a rich diversity of life styles to accommodate us all.
Tapi agak was was kalau pas musim ujan ya kak...Have a nice day Kak ^^
ReplyDeleteI see that life is the same, only the transportation and conditions change. But as an outsider, it may seem different and difficult to live for us. Nice photos
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post! Sometimes we need a peek into another person's beautiful lives to see what we need and what we don't. Thank you. ♥
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. When I see photos like this - it reminds me that life is so beautiful all over the world. This type of living/life seems more connected to what's important, food, shelter, and ...I like this more than looking at big cities. Love how you can buy something right as you float by in a boat. Nice! i'm sure there is a lot of traffic in the citires but this here looks like my kind of ride.
ReplyDelete3 times I visited the water village in Penang, Brunei and siam rep. Just amazed that they can keep the river clean .
ReplyDeleteEspecially in Siam Rep. The water is quite clean, buuuut the houses are so small 😣. Can't imagine that full of family staying in such little boat.
I wanna go to there someday 😭😭😭
