HOME-GROWN IS THRIVING

Home-grown veggies seem to be the most recent activity in my neighbourhood.       This pumpkin patch on a fence is making heads as we take our morning walks. ALAS, it is not mine.

Our residents have slowly but surely started their own vegetable plots.
Either we buy or grow our own veggies, there is always an insatiable demand for food. Some plots are more productive
like this pineapple patch.
Others are rather “sad” like this water melon the size of an egg!
MY pathetic VEGGIES - "sayur manis,"
water spinach, mint, lemon grass and screw pine leaves.
Blame it on the lock down or partial lock down,
home-grown is thriving along the side walks and back yards.
And Malaysians love chillies with every meal.
