Musk Melons belong to the Cucurbitaceae family, water melons too. They have a net-like ribbing pattern. The melons here in Bagan Datok are as round as new full moons on a clear night sky.
And they are huge, so much larger than the ones I get from the supermarkets. It 's like lifting kettle bells in the gym. OHHH ...quick with the photo please.
After months of hard
work tending to these trailing vines,
harvesting them is even more arduous. These
heavy weights are individually plucked laboriously by hand. 
Tenderly wrapped with newspapers. 
Remember it’s a sizzler out there harvesting at 37 C on a cloudless day. But remember, when the GOING GETS TOUGH, the TOUGH GET GOING.
