I'll have a blue Christmas without you
I'll be so blue just thinkin' about you
Decorations of red on a green Christmas tree
Won't be the same if you're not here with me.
And when those blue snowflakes start fallin'
That's when those blue memories start callin'
You'll be doin' all right with your Christmas of white
But I'll have a blue, blue, blue, blue Christmas
Lyrics by Jay Johnson and Billy Hayes

I’ll have a blue Christmas without the sun
I’ll be so blue watching the monsoons
Laundry drying around my green Christmas tree
and turtles start callin’
floods and landslides every where
Turtle doing the breast stroke in the kitchen.
Iguana straddling in the living room.
Fish stranded in the living room.
Snake in restaurant
Wow, I'm so sorry to hear this. However, your song writing and singing is wonderful. Merry Blue Christmas!
ReplyDeleteTQ Patsy, my song writing is a sporadic event! But, my singing needs much more practice

Away From The Blue
We have been safe and dry past few days.
DeleteI also heard the flood is devastating there, and your images and videos expose the real state of the affected. I hope the rain stops and normalcy return soon. The wild species entering the houses and restaurants seems challenging to control. Please take care. However I wish you Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI was shocked myself at the wild life in the different homes.
Deletewow, the flooding looks crazy. And the temps. We are having days of heavy rain and part of the hwy coming up to our mountain area gave out...well the dirt underneath and just a small part of the road. This is the worse i've seen it since we moved here. I always enjoy your photos and hope Christmas and through New Years dries out for you all.
ReplyDeleteIt has been dry past few days but heavy rains are predicted to start tmr or Tuesday again.
DeleteMarry Christmas! I wish you happyness!
